Gestamp has chosen Matsusaka as the location of its first Japanese plant due its strategic placement, in close proximity to the OEMS. Gestamp‘s new plant is located in the middle of Japanese core auto manufacturing zone.
Mie is an environment where we are very comfortable to start our operations in the Japanese market. Additionally, we have received strong one-stop support by Mie Prefecture and Matsusaka City that are fully committed with the industrial investment.
At Gestamp, we are pleased that with this new facility we are adding Japan to our industrial scope. For Gestamp being part of the industrial Japanese culture means a key milestone. We will be closer to the Japanese customers and will keep developing solutions in close proximity to them. |
