Location agreement ceremony was conducted for Cokey whom decided to construct a new plant.

Cokey Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of pharmaceutical raw materials, has decided to establish a new plant in their factory located at Matsusaka Uegawa Industrial Park, in order to meet with increases in market demand.
Based on this decision, Mr. Naomasa Yoshida, President of the company, and Mr. Masato Takegami, Mayor of Matsusaka City, have signed the agreement in the presence of prefectural observers at the Matsusaka City Hall on May 12.
Cokey is the original manufacturer of “monoammonium glycyrrhizate”, which is mainly used in hepatitis and anti-allergy injections and tablets, and refines the raw material to supply to domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Mie prefecture will cooperate with Matsusaka City to support the smooth construction and operation for Cokey’s new plant.

医薬品原料メーカーである宏輝株式会社は、需要拡大に対応するため、松阪上川工業団地内の同社工場内に新たな原薬プラントの設立を決定しました。 プラント新設決定に伴い、５月１２日に同社の吉田直正社長と竹上真人松阪市長は、県を立会人とする立地協定を松阪市役所にて締結しました。 同社は主に肝炎・抗アレルギーの注射薬・錠剤に使用されるグリチルリチン酸モノアンモニウムの先発メーカーであり、原材料を精製して国内の医薬品メーカーに供給しています。 県としては、松阪市と連携し、新工場の建設及び操業が円滑に進むよう支援してまいります。 （令和４年５月１２日）  |
