Location agreement signing ceremony was conducted for HOKUTO Corporation’s launch in Taki Town, Mie Prefecture

HOKUTO Corporation, Japan's largest mushroom corporate group that engages in the research and development, production, and sales of mushrooms, will establish a new production center in Taki Town, Mie Prefecture. Accordingly, the location agreement signing ceremony was held at the prefectural office on October 14.
On the day of the ceremony, Mr. Masayoshi Mizuno, President of HOKUTO Corporation, and Mr. Yukio Kubo, Mayor of Taki Town, visited the government office and signed the agreement in the presence of Governor Suzuki of Mie Prefecture.
The demand for mushrooms is growing in recent years with the increase in health consciousness both in Japan and overseas, and the company chose to locate their first production site in the Tokai and Kinki region in Taki Town, Mie Prefecture, due its advantageous distribution network and the abundance of clear streams flowing from the surrounding mountains. Maitake and Bunashimeji mushrooms will be produced at the new production center in Mie.
It is a great honor to welcome HOKUTO Corporation here in Mie Prefecture, and we, with Taki Town, are fully committed to support the company for the smooth construction of the facility and the successful operation in Mie.
ホクト株式会社の多気町への新工場建設決定に伴う立地協定式を行いました

きのこ生産・販売で国内最大手のホクト株式会社が、多気クリスタルタウン工業ゾーン（多気町五佐奈、西山地内）に新工場建設を決定したことに伴う立地協定書締結式を、10月14日に三重県庁にて行いました。 当日は、ホクト株式会社の水野雅義代表取締役社長と、多気町の久保行央町長が来庁され、鈴木知事立会いの下、協定書に署名を行いました。 近年、きのこは、健康食品として需要が高まっており、交通網の充実と栽培に欠かせない豊富で良質な水資源等を理由に、近畿地方・東海３県に“初”となる工場を建設することをご決定いただきました。新工場では、マイタケとブナシメジを生産予定です。 三重県としては、多気町と連携し、新工場の建設並びに操業が円滑に進むよう支援してまいります。 （令和２年１０月１４日）  |
